    One of my sources of inspiration on a rainy day is my library.  I try not to force ideas but think about a design or a problem I'm trying to solve, perhaps visually. I first started collecting MAD Magazines as a kid, in order to get better at drawing cartoons.  I greatly admired Sergio Aragones' ability to draw between the frames and silently communicate humor sometimes more effectively than the actual comics.

    As I continue looking through old boxes in storage, every once in a while a flyer pops out that reminds me that 23 years ago, I was doing something completely different. The internet was in its infancy and I learned how to email people "across the pond" and invite them to perform shows in Austin.  After having some success in tracking down DJ Krush and bringing him to Texas, I wanted to bring another first-time-to-Austin artist from abroad and that artist was DJ Vadim.  His work on U.S.S.R.
